Feeling stuck? Feeling anxiety because you want to do SOMETHING, but your hands are tied from making progress for one reason or another? You keep trying but you keep hitting a freaking wall?

It’s so frustrating. Do you just want to scream at someone? JUST EFFIN’ HELP ME AND LISTEN TO ME!!! IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE SO HARD IF YOU’D JUST HELP ME DO THE NEXT THING. HELP ME MAKE PROGRESS SO LIFE IS EASIER AND BETTER.

Your progress may have halted because in order for the next thing to happen you need the help of some muscle, some skill set, or someone involved in the situation to see things your way.

I want you to know that I know that it can become distressful when you have a deep desire to accomplish something in your home, like get rid of all the crap and live in a streamlined, serene environment that matches your style. A highly functional, easy to maintain home, beautiful envioronment.

As much pain as you are feeling in those moments when you really want to make progress, and you literally need things to change, but the progress has come to a complete hault, all is not lost.

You can make some progress. It may not be on the exact thing you most want done at this moment, but there are other things you can focus on.

To give you some relief, and to help you keep your vision evolving, do this:

  1. Grab pen and paper. Across the top write “THings I CAN do right now.”
  2. Walk thru your home and jot down the little things that you CAN do to improve the functionality and sanity of your home. Things like – make bed; tighten knob on cabinet; make a spot for small trinkets or other random small items that need repairing; take xyz to other room; re-caulk tub; file papers; check up on client; open and sort mail; total monthly income/expenses; call _____ who can help with _____.
  3. Get these things done. And, if you start going into distress mode again, you’ve lost focus of your list of things you CAN do. Go back to it.
